Tretyak is a character in the novel and a resident of Kievskaya station.
Overview[]
Melnik and Artyom make their way to Kievskaya for his knowledge of missiles to help them locate D6 and strike back against the dark ones.
Tretyak and Melnik are attacked one night trying to find the entrance to D6, by an unseen force. Tretyak is unfortunately killed by a poison arrow, and Melnik sends a message back to Artyom, telling him to stay put at Kievskaya while he makes his way back to him.
