Igor is the head of a security checkpoint on a par with Boss at the Prospect Mira radial station and works directly under Mike.

Igor is briefly seen on the Market level. He attempts to extort additional payment from Bourbon, but quickly gives up and lets him and Artyom pass the gate.

- For an unknown reason his patronym changes from dub to dub. He is referred to as Vladimirovich in English and as Sergeevich in Russian.
- He is the only character to wear a helmet from the Alpha-version of Metro 2033.
